Weird record

This must be one of my craziest record finds in Sweden ever,must be pretty unique but not listenable.

Jan Henning EP

At the age of 15 Jan Henning recorded this EP wich was to become his only recorded recording in 1958?, in the mid-60´s the day before going to record a record with Rune Öfwerman he took an overdose and sadly died.

He was a talent that would have gone far.

In 1962 or 1963 Sahib Shihab played in Östersund, small town in the north of Sweden, This beautiful poster was made for the occasion. 60cmX40cm.

Modern sound corporation

Promo material for the Modern sound Corporation group in 1979 playing live at the Atlantic Club in Stockholm, this single was handed out only as to advertise for the gig and must be truly rare.

Chris Eubank vs Michael Watson 21/9 1991

I can´t believe it´s 20years ago since the devestating fight, I used to be a huge boxing fan but after seeing this fight live on TV at the time I just stopped watching boxing.

I found the vcr tape and thought that I should try to watch it and see if I would become as upset now as I did back in 91, and I was!, until the 11th round it was one of the best fights ever but after Eubanks right uppercut in the end of the round it wasn´t fun anymore.
The commentators said at the end of round 11 that anyone seeing this fight will remember it for the rest of their lifes and that could not be more true.

After seeing this fight again, I will not watch more boxing until I watch this one again in about 20years, if my vcr is still working then.....

One just has to love it!, such a brilliant release from one of the greatest labels of all time, I have always been a huge fan of their releases, mostly the early ones, this is just what I needed to get through the autumn. Future investment too...

Very nice sleeve to this swedish jazz magazine back in 1967, also very intresting to read that Kenny Clarke and combo made a small concert during lunchtime at Åhlens, one of Stockholms largest department stores, I wish I had been there as it must have been stunning.

Mutiny on the mamaship /Jerome Brailey

Life would be tremendously boring if only listening to jazz...This LP I bought the same year as it came out back in 1979 and few Lp´s has survived in my collection but this one still sound as amazing as when I bought it.

A true masterpiece wich never has received its recognition as one of the true classics, pumping drums and a fierce guitar that lays like a carpet of madness throughout the whole LP.

Cool lyrics " sworn to fun loyal to none"and great harmonies, the ultimate P-funk LP.

Some of you must be thinking that I´ve gone crazy but I tell you you haven´t heard anything until you listen to this LP. If I were to bring only 10 lp´s to a desert island, this one would be one of them for sure.

"What more can I say".............

Elaine Delmar EP 1962

Marvellous voice and one of my top jazz ep´s, this danish press is even superior to the original u.k. press.

Monica Zetterlund first single 1958

I thought the days where over for new discovery´s but here´s one that suprised me just recently, apparently this one was pressed in 1958 first in the U.K. as a promo and then later the same year in Norway but then with yellow vinyl.
I can´t find any info in the books about this one therefore it must be considered extremly rare and also my guess is that not many copies could have been made of this promo.
The sound quality is way superior comparing to the norwegian press on this Monica Zetterlund first 7" record.

Jimmy Cliff in Brazil 196? LP

Such an oddity!, it would be really intresting to know who is playing aside with Jimmy on this one, the sleeve reveals no information, several of the tunes is very funky in James Brown style, great singer!!
